Stephenville – Services for Zelma Elizabeth Rodgers, 94, homemaker, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, Arkansas with Rev. Joe Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow.
Zelma was born in May, OK. on September 11, 1921 to Albert Flaming and Goldie (Ishmael) Flaming.
Survivors include her daughters; Myrtle Fletcher and husband, Clarence (Fletch) of Jay, OK., Naomi Green of Jay, OK., sons; Thomas Hyer and wife, Lois of Clayton, NM., Art Hyer and wife, Reba of Morgan Mill, sister; Eva Price of Springfield, MO., brother; Bud Flaming of Whitney, TX., 24 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Hyer and Festus Rodgers, daughter; Zelame Garnet, sons; Manford Hyer, Johnny Dick Hyer, Golden Willard Hyer, sisters; Peggy Wheller, Evelyn Flaming, brothers; Wesley Flaming, Bob Flaming, Wayne Flaming, and her parents; Albert and Goldie Flaming.
