BURIAL: Duffau Cemetery in Hamilton County.
VISITATION: Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 20.
Vickey Elaine Cavitt, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, in Marlin, Texas.
She was born on Friday, January 4, 1952, in Slaton, Texas, to Lewis Weldon and Mattie Faye (McAlister) Kuykendall. On June 17, 1983, she was united in Marriage to James Cavitt in Tow, Texas. Vickey was a schoolteacher. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a Baptist.
She is survived by her husband, James Cavitt of Marlin; son, Kyle Cavitt and wife Kim of Levelland; nephew and niece, Wade Kuykendall and Kathy Kuykendall, both of Lubbock; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Mattie Kuykendall, and brother, Kenny Kuykendall.
