Barber reaches nationals in three events

Stephenville’s Dillon Barber has qualified in three events for the National State Games of America after placing second in the boys 13-14 division in 50-meter butterfly, third 50 freestyle and fourth in 100 free at the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation Summer Games of Texas in McAllen.

Barber will compete in nationals in Grand Rapids, Michigan next summer. He was one of four competitors at the TAAF games, including Lily Fangman, Gavyn Carpenter and Sophi Fowler.
