Stephenville – Graveside Services with Military Honors for Hershal Brinson, 92, land developer and owner of Brinson Construction Co., Dallas County, Texas, will be held at 10:15 a.m., Friday, October 28, 2016, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with Rev. Joe Rogers officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Hershal was born in Lelia Lake, Texas, on March 28, 1924, to Roy and Francis (McMillan) Brinson. He married Wanda Rose Cornell on November 22, 1947, in Amarillo, Texas. He was a member of the Morgan Mill Baptist Church and a WWII Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Brinson of Stephenville, Texas; his daughters, Linda Palmer and husband, Steven Palmer, Sr., of Dallas, Texas, and Barbara Ann Sexton and husband, Charles Sexton, of Willow Park, Texas; four grandchildren, Dan Davenport of Dallas, Texas, Steven Palmer, Jr., of Southlake, Texas, Jennifer Palmer of Dallas, Texas, and Kimberly Pharr of Lubbock, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Chloe Pharr, Steven Palmer, III, and Harrison Palmer; and a sister, Mary Evelyn Ogden of Atwater, California. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
