STEPHENVILLE (Monday, October 24, 2016) — Stephenville is the only team from District 8-4A to send both its boys and girls varsity teams on to the Region I-4A championships, set for this Saturday at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock. The Yellow Jackets and Honeybees, along with their junior varsity teammates, enjoyed an awards dinner Monday evening at First Baptist Church. Lane Rust was named boys MVP, Luis Carillo Yellow Jacket Heart, Anahi Rivas girls MVP and Emily Kirbo Honeybee Heart.
