STEPHENVILLE (November 1, 2016) – The Buckeyes defeated the Cougars in the 8U Flag Football Playoff Tournament by a score of 9-6. This ended the Cougars season and they took 4th place in the tournament. The Buckeyes will advance in the tournament to face the Bears on Saturday. Three teams remain in the tournament: Jaguars, Bears and Buckeyes. The Bears and the Buckeyes are working their way through the loser’s bracket of the tournament, which means one more loss eliminates them and the winner of Saturday’s game would have to defeat the Jaguars twice to claim the league championship.
