Free admission to Thursday’s basketball games with donation to ‘Toys for Kids’

STEPHENVILLE (November 28, 2016) – Tarleton Athletics is offering the chance for free admission to Thursday’s basketball game against Midwestern State.

For each unwrapped toy that fans bring, they will get free admission to Thursday’s game. The Toys for Kids benefits the Stephenville Optimist Club. Free photos with Santa will also be available inside Wisdom Gym. Students who bring an unwrapped toy and show a student ID will receive free popcorn at the game.

The Tarleton Athletic department also asks that you bring an unwrapped gift to the Lonn Reisman radio show this Friday at noon at Bruner Motors to benefit the Stephenville Optimist Club’s Toys for Kids. The best toy brought to the show will win a prize.

The Texan Stars are selling $3 raffle tickets for a $65 Kendra Scott Gift card that will be given away at Saturday’s game against Cameron. The money raised will go towards the Texan Stars’ national expenses.

Tarleton will take on Midwestern State this Thursday with the TexAnns tipping off at 5:30 p.m. and the No. 7 Texans at 7:30. Saturday’s games against Cameron are scheduled for 2 and 4 p.m.
