STEPHENVILLE (December 9, 2016) – Every one of the 569 third and fourth grade students at Stephenville ISD’s Hook Elementary school participated Friday in what educators are calling the largest education event in history – The Hour of Code.
More than 2 million students worldwide are participating in The Hour of Coding, which teaches computer coding for one hour during Computer Science Education Week (December 5-11).
“For approximately 90 percent of our staff and students, this (is) their very first introduction to coding,” said Hook Elementary’s Lisa West.
