Vanetta Wolfe, age 83, passed away on February 25th, 2017. She was born to the late Richard and Leona Patton in McCamey, Texas on September 17th, 1933. Vanetta graduated from Hico High School in 1951 and married the late Dwain Wolfe in May of the same year. They lived together in Hico for 40 years. Vanetta owned and operated Stephenville Beauty College for 30 years and was passionate about her work. She was an avid reader, had a wonderful sense of humor, was an active member of her church, and was always devoted to her dogs. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Stan Cavalla; her grandchildren and their spouses, Vince and Barbara Cavalla, Valerie and Gabe Schnickel, and Johnnie and Brooke Cavalla; her great grandchildren, Keshley, Kylee, Brady, Ellie, and Piper; her siblings, Patricia Ramirez, James Patton, and Susan Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwain Wolfe; her son, Terry Wolfe; and siblings Arloween, Bobby, Richard, and Billy Jean.
Service Information
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, at the Harvest Hills Funeral Home located at 118 Second Street in Hico. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, at the Hico First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Clairette Cemetery.
