STEPHENVILLE (April 1, 2017) – On Saturday, Dobby Day was held at Legends Country Club in Stephenville. The day was set up so area residents and friends of Terry Dobson could come out and have a good time together while raising money to help with the expenses involved with Terry’s treatments.
Dobson is currently battling cancer and Dobby Day consisted of the following activities: motorcycle ride, golf scramble, poker tournament, a silent auction, live entertainment as well as lots of good food. There was even a bounce house for the children.
The live entertainment consisted of several area performers and bands beginning at 11:30 a.m. until after 8 p.m. At the time The Flash was present, there were performances by Rhonda McCullough, Billy Hartman, Thomas Napp, Cami Maki and Larry Joe Taylor and his band.
The team who won the golf scramble consisted of: David Baskett, Stephen McKethan, Sam Nave and Blazi Weippert. For winning the scramble the team received a check for $640 and they immediately donated it to Terry Dobson and family.
