(September 6, 2017) — Stephenville is previewing its district course and taking a bevy of participants with teams set to compete in all eight divisions of Wednesday’s Dinosaur Valley Classic at Dinosaur Valley State Park just off US Highway 67 immediately west of Glen Rose.
The schedule calls for the first gun fire at 4 p.m. to get the junior high divisions going, with the high school races beginning an hour later, varsity before junior varsity.
The Honeybees and Yellow Jackets each finished third in the 4A & under division of the Elk Run at Burleson’s Chisenhall Park last Friday. The boys team standings were tight with the Jackets missing out on first place by just eight points.
Here’s a look at the schedule of the Dinosaur Valley Classic:
4 p.m. – 7th girls (2 miles)
4:15 p.m. – 7th boys (2 miles)
4:30 p.m. – 8th girls (2 miles)
4:45 p.m. – 8th boys (2 miles)
5 p.m. – Varsity girls (2 miles)
5:15 p.m. – Varsity boys (3 miles)
5:30 p.m. – JV girls (2 miles)
5:45 p.m. – J boys (3 miles
