Services for Constance “Connie” Reagan, 92, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Valley Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ward Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Connie was born in Bishop, Texas, on August 4, 1925, to James Amos and Ola (Teasley) Nelson. She married J. Curtis Reagan on August 16, 1946, in Bishop, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 29, 2010.
Connie graduated from Bishop High School. She received her B.B.A. degree from Texas A&I College, Kingsville, Texas. She worked for Humble Oil and Refining Company in Corpus Christi, Texas, was a school teacher in Mercedes, Texas, and church secretary in Sinton, Texas.
She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority at Texas A&I College, Beta Sigma Phi, Los Ebanos Study Club, PTA Organizations, and Frances Alexander Study Club.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elizabeth Jeanette Reagan.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Thompson and husband, Tab, of Stephenville, TX; son, Joel Reagan and wife, Leti, of Harlingen, TX; six grandchildren, J.C. Reagan, Trevor Reagan, Reagan Thompson and wife, Lindsey, Kayla Thompson-Cermak and husband, Matt, Patrick Thompson and wife, Megan, and Daniel Thompson and wife, Carolyn; four great-grandchildren, Adaleigh Thompson, Jackson Thompson, Braden Thompson, and Hudson Thompson; two nieces, Joy Ann Merricks, and Melissa Ihrig and husband Bruce; and nephew, James Merricks and wife, Kaylyn.
