(September 26, 2017) — Only two points separated reigning district champ Comanche from Dublin at Roy and Lynn Neff Gym Tuesday evening. The Maidens edged the Lady Lions in four sets – 25-18, 16-25, 25-23, 25-23 – with the final scoring tally coming to 91-89.

LEWIS ON THE LOSS:
Coming into tonight we knew we had to play well. Comanche won the district last year and had many players return from that team. We played some great defense and had the best service receive that we have probably had all year. The determining factor in the game came to our hitting and serving errors. We will keep working on minimizing the errors and push for a win on Saturday as we travel to Eastland.

LADY LION LEADERS
Jordyn Ricks – 16 kills, 11 digs, 2 blocks
Angelica Linan – 11 kills, 8 difs
Addison Stout – 11 kills
Kyleigh Bamber – 24 digs
Kylie Curtoys – 14 assists
Joley Chhsholm – 6 kills

TOO MANY ERRORS:
Dublin committed 71 total errors including 20 attack errors, 10 service errors, 35 digging errors and 6 blocking errors.

COMING UP:
Dublin continues districted action with a trip to Eastland on Saturday. First serve is expected at noon following sub-varsity play at 10 and 11 a.m.
