(October 16, 2017) — Dublin showed in the opening set why the Lady Lions are the top challenger to Comanche in District 6-3A.
And the Maidens proved in the fourth they remain ahead of Dublin as the league’s best team.
In between were second and third set nail biters, both going the way of Comanche, ultimately giving the Maidens a 3-1 win by counts of 18-25, 26-24, 25-22, 25-14, and a two-match lead over the Lady Lions and Breckenridge atop the district standings.

Dublin secured a playoff spot with the result of other matches Saturday. The Lady Lions hold the head-to-head advantage with Breckenridge and host their second meeting in the friendly confines of Roy and Lynn Neff Gym.
