Tarleton started the season 2-0 for the second time in the last three years after defeating Western State (CO) and St. Mary’s at the F&M Bank TexAnn Tip-Off Classic in Stephenville last weekend. The TexAnns averaged 65.0 points per game over the first two games and were led in scoring by Mackenzie Hailey (11.5) and McKinley Bostad (11.0).

INSIDE THE SERIES: CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
Tarleton and Central Oklahoma have met 25 times in their history and were bitter rivals back in the Bronchos’ Lone Star Conference days, meeting in the LSC Championship Tournament three times between 2008 and 2011. In their last LSC Tournament meeting, Tarleton fell to the Bronchos in a 70-74 double-overtime heartbreaker in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Central Oklahoma holds a 13-12 lead in the all-time series, but the TexAnns won the most recent outing when they took the court in Denton in a 2013 tournament.INSIDE THE SERIES: REGIS
Sunday will mark the third all-time meeting between Tarleton and Regis with each team looking to tip the scale of the 1-1 all-time series. Tarleton traveled to Denver in 1996 for the first-ever meeting and suffered a loss, but won the last meeting in 2013 when the teams met on the floor in Denton in an exact replica of this weekend’s tournament schedule.UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will play one more game before breaking for Thanksgiving as the TexAnns will head to Lubbock for a Tuesday night game against Lubbock Christian at 6 p.m.
