In the last meeting between the two schools, Tarleton earned its first-ever NCAA playoff victory as the TexAnns defeated Southeastern 86-75 in the opening round of the South Central Region tournament. A complete box score from Tarleton’s historic win against the Savage Storm can be found online at TarletonSports.com or on page 109 of the 2017-18 TexAnn Basketball Media Guide.
