
HOUSTON – Casey Wild is in a three-way tie for fifth place and five strokes off the lead through three rounds of the NCAA Division II Golf Championship at the Bay Oaks Country Club.
In the third round on Friday, Wildcarded a 76 (+4), running her three-round score to a 219 (+3). Wild shot a 69 (-3) and a 74 (+2) in the first two rounds of the championship. Katharina Keilich of Indianapolis leads the field at 214 (-2).

Wild shot 3-over on the front nine and followed up with 1-over on the back nine to close out her round. The senior from Australia recorded 12 pars and one birdie in today’s round. Overall, Wild has 37 pars and seven birdies in the tournament.
Wild’s been at her best on Par 3’s and Par 5’s, shooting even par through 54 holes. She’s 3-over on Par 4’s.
Wild will tee off in the final round at 9:30 a.m. on hole No. 1.
