Builders, quarterback coaches, teachers, and police those are just some of the jobs members of the 1998 Stephenville High School football have these days, but those jobs were short-term conversations as talk quickly drifted to high light plays and championship rings.

Of course, there was plenty to talk about when your state championship team set the then national record for an offense with 8,650 yards. That’s a mark that still ranks 3rd nationally and attests to just how powerful Stephenville was in going 16-0 and defeating La Marque 34-7 that year.
The first night of the reunion kicked off last night at Hard 8 BBQ and more players are expected to attend another gathering this evening at The Agave.
