In the latest regional poll for the South Central Region released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, the Texans are ranked 10th and the TexAnns are ranked ninth.
The Texans are one of two LSC teams in the regional rankings with West Texas A&M ranked sixth. The Texans are coming off of a second-place finish at its last meet at the Texas A&M Invitational.
The TexAnns are the only LSC team in the regional rankings. The TexAnns are coming off of a 12th place finish at the Texas A&M Invitational.
The Texans and TexAnns will travel to Mississippi College on Saturday for the Watson Ford Invitational.
