It only took a 10-game winning streak for the national voters to put Tarleton back in the national spotlight as the TexAnns returned to the top-25 rankings for the first time since February 27.
Tarleton checks in at No. 23 in the poll Wednesday morning after winning 10 of their last 11 games. The TexAnns are currently one of four Lone Star Conference schools in the rankings – joining Texas A&M-Kingsville (5), West Texas A&M (9) and Texas A&M-Commerce (10). Tarleton’s last two home series of the season will be against West Texas A&M and Commerce.
This marks the fourth week this season that Tarleton has been ranked. The TexAnns moved as high as No. 8 earlier this year.
Tarleton will head to UT Permian Basin for a three-game series this weekend, beginning Friday at 6 p.m. in Odessa.
