The Cody Davis Student of the Game Youth Football Camp is set of Saturday, June 22 at Stephenville High School.

The free camp (Grades k-6) has spots for 150 campers with 100 spots online at www.sotg.eventbrite.com and an additional 50 paper registrations available at Bruner Auto Group GM Store.

There will only be 150 spots available to ensure that campers get quality one-on-one instruction with coaches at Davis’ 6th annual camp. Campers will run through a variety of skills designed to help youngsters in grades K-6 to get a jump on their football careers. Additionally, Davis’ offers his encouragement about players becoming students of the game of football.
Davis, 29, is a prime example of how hard work and studying can lead to a professional football career after going from a redshirt freshman to Second-Team All-Big 12 at Texas Tech on the field and First Team Capital One All-American in the classroom.
As a junior, Davis led Raiders in tackles with 93 stops including 72 solos and notched that figure up to 101 total tackles and 84 solos his senior season.
Despite shining on and off the field, David remained undrafted by NFL teams in 2013, but he quickly signed a free-agent contract with the St. Louis Rams and later signed a two-year deal in 2016.
Davis is now with his second NFL team after signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars in March last year.
Below are some scenes from last year’s camp.
