F.D. Hogg, 77, of Stephenville, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Stephenville.
Graveside services were held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 16th at Alameda Cemetery in Eastland County, with Werth Mayes officiating.
F.D. was born on October 19, 1943 in Gorman to the late Ulmer Vernon Hogg and Renee Pilgrim Hogg. He married the love of his life, Janie Fisher on November 15, 1963 in Ranger. Janie preceded him in death on October 17, 2016. F.D. worked as a master plumber and a farmer and was a member of the Cowboy Church of Erath County. He was a devoted Cowboy’s Fan and was a member of the Whataburger Coffee Group. F.D. loved to hunt and also loved playing dominoes.
F. D. is survived by his daughters, Dede Berry of Stephenville, and Diann and husband Stephen Harrell of Stephenville’ grandchildren, Weston & wife Monica Mathis, Maegan and husband Dusty Schwab, and Stephen Harrell; great grandchildren, Jaxon Mathis, Caroline Harrell, and Mason Wolford; and brothers, Junior Hogg, Ricky Hogg, and Johnny Ray Wilson.
Besides his parents, and wife, Janie; F. D. was also preceded in death by a sister, Lorretta Stephens.
