Tarleton Volleyball ticket and COVID-19 policies announced for 2021 season

STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton Athletics has announced its ticket and COVID-19 policy for all volleyball homes games in 2021.

At this time, capacity is limited to a maximum of 50 percent inside the Wisdom Volleyball Gym, per Governor Abbott’s Executive Order No. GA-28. Due to the WAC’s COVID-19 policy, the seating areas must be at least 12 feet from playing surface.

There will be no general admission tickets sold for home volleyball games this season. Only Tarleton students, Texan Club passes and Tarleton and visitor team complimentary tickets will be allowed in the Wisdom Volleyball Gym. The Wisdom Gym ticket office will only open on game day for will call and complimentary ticket pickup. The Wisdom Gym will call ticket window will open one hour before the start of each match.

No walk-up sales are allowed this season. All Tarleton students must claim their free tickets in advance by visiting TarletonSports.com/tickets. Students should select the “TSU Student” option and enter their Student ID Number (UID) and last name to claim their ticket. Each student can claim only one ticket per game. Once the transaction is complete, a ticket will be sent to the email address you entered when checking out. Please print the PDF ticket sent to you or show the ticket on your mobile device when entering Wisdom Gym. If students have any questions or issues claiming a ticket, please call the ticket office at 254-968-1832.

Fan seating will be in the upper and lower levels of the Wisdom Volleyball Gym. However, every other row will be blocked off and unavailable for fans to sit in. All band, cheer, dance and spirit groups must stay in their dedicated seating areas and cannot be on the court for any reason.

Face masks are required for everyone in the facility with the exception of competing student-athletes. Coaches are required to wear a face masks during the match while coaching. Officials and line judges will be required to wear a face mask for the entirety of the match. Media will be located socially distant as possible in and around the arena. The court will have markings with a 12-foot bubble around team benches to show fans/workers they have to walk around.

Fans and staff must pass a temperature check before entering Wisdom Gym. If a fan or staff member registers a temperature of 100.4+, they will be moved to a staging area and an oral temperature test will be conducted.  If the oral temperature is 100.4 or higher, they cannot enter the facility.

Tarleton Volleyball will make its Division I and WAC home debut against California Baptist on February 1-2 with both matches taking place at 6 p.m. All home games will be streamed free of charge on the WAC Digital Network.
