Coach Justin Rhodes will take over the Honeybee soccer program as well as continue to lead the Jacket soccer program. Under Coach Rhodes the Jackets soccer team advanced to the regional quarterfinal round of the playoffs a year ago compiling a record of 17-5. They fell to the eventual state champs Diamond Hill Jarvis in that playoff game.

A Maryland native, Rhodes served in the United States Marine Corps from 1989-1994 where he coached in Japan and Italy. He earned his NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) Advanced National License and has coached in Nike’s ID2 program and as a National Staff Coach thru the Super Y League.

With 20 years coaching experience, Rhodes has previously been the Coaching Director for Concorde Fire in Atlanta, Georgia. Before that, Rhodes held positions of Executive Director for Diadora United FC in Aiken, South Carolina and Director of Coaching for ISA-CSC in Irmo, South Carolina.

Rhodes achieved success along the way becoming the first coach in South Carolina history to advance a youth men’s team to the National Championship finals in 02. He coached the first South Carolina team to win a Region III Championship while winning multiple state championships in both youth and High School. In Georgia Rhodes helped carry on a winning tradition at Concorde by being part of a couple National Championship teams, Region Championship teams and multiple state championship teams.

Rhodes is currently residing in Stephenville with his wife of 30 years, Valarie, and has two children Michael Rhodes and Savannah Rhodes.

“We are proud to have Coach Rhodes lead our Jacket and Honeybee soccer programs moving forward,” Stephenville AD Coach Jarrod Womack said. “Coach Rhodes has built many programs into very competitive teams and we continue to be excited to have him here in SISD.”
