The Stephenville Honeybees (25-10, 5-0) have a firm hold on their District 6, 4A crowns going into a Tuesday evening match-up with the Glen Rose Lady Tigers (21-12, 3-2) at 6 p.m. in SHS Gandy Gym.
The undefeated in district Bees are coming off a big win against district rivals the fourth place Brownwood Lady Lions (18-10, 2-4). The Bees defeated the Lady Lions in 3 quick sets (25-14, 25-12, 25-21) last Tuesday and had a bye on Friday.
The Lady Tigers come to Stephenville in third place in district play, having defeated the Lampasas Lady Badgers (12-15, 0-6) on Friday in three sets. The Lady Badgers have yet to win a game in District 6, 4A this season.
After Tuesday’s match, the Bees will look to continue their win streak in Lampasas on Friday against the Lady Badgers.
