Lynn Crim, age 80, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 in Brownwood, Texas.
Lynn was born on April 18, 1941 in Brownwood, Texas, to Russell McDaniel and Florence (Dutton).
She was united in marriage on June 30, 1961 to William Crim in Sidney, Texas. She worked as a bookkeeper for Coors Distributing Company, Jimmie Campbell Motor Company, JR Beadle Supermarket in Brownwood, and Holley Chevrolet in Brownwood. She worked at National Car Rental at Brownwood Airport and also at Wright’s Leather Goods in Comanche. She worked as a Library Aide at May ISD for 20 years, and was the Junior High Librarian at Comanche ISD for one year.
She loved to talk and laugh, and made many friends easily. She loved sharing books with her daughter and going to the movies all the time with her. She enjoyed years of homemaking on their peanut farm in Sidney when she wasn’t at work. She also loved watching her daughter at her many extracurricular sports and events, taking her to tons of summer sports camps and leagues, and making lots of stuff for all those events. She was always in the stand cheering us on! She was a very special lady and she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, William Crim of Comanche; daughter, Julie Crim of Comanche; brother, Fain McDaniel of Sidney; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell McDaniel and Florence (Dutton).
