The Erath County Sheriff’s Department has arrested Garrett Frye, 45, yet again.
According to a release from ECSO deputy Ben Moore, “On Wednesday, May 11, Erath County Sheriff’s Office investigators wrote a warrant of arrest for Garrett Frye after an incident involving Frye where investigators had probable cause to believe he shot a firearm inside a vehicle occupied by a mother and her two children.”

Moore also stated, ECSO deputies went to Frye’s residence and observed him working in the yard. While deputies were approaching the residence, Frye fled into a nearby wooded area.
Deputies set up surveillance on Frye’s home and, later that same day, he was seen leaving in light colored sedan. Law enforcement attempted to stop Frye and he fled in the vehicle, leading officers on a vehicle pursuit north on US Highway 281 through Morgan Mill.
Moore reported, deputies were able to apprehend Frye on a nearby county road. He was arrested and charged with deadly conduct. Frye is being held in the Erath County Jail and bond has been set at $350,000.
