(June 4, 1949 – May 13, 2022)

Micki Simmons passed away on Friday, May 13th in Fort Worth, Texas. Micki had battled health issues for many years and is now resting free of pain and physical restrictions. Better known as “Ma” to those that really knew her, Micki had a great love for her family and friends. Being a grandma was her greatest joy – spending time with her grandkids and furry grandbabies was her absolute favorite. Not far behind, though, was a lifelong love of reading, home renovation and veterinary shows (The Incredible Dr. Pol was regularly discussed), her church family, attending her grandkids’ activities, and shoestring potatoes (no lie). Ma loved a good joke or prank and had an infectious laugh! She is dearly missed.

Micki was born in Fort Worth, Texas on June 4, 1949 to Dewey and Helen Lee (the oldest of three children). She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her favorite aunt Shirley West Johnson, her brother Bobby Lee, and her husband Richard Reese (in 1973). Micki leaves behind her husband Randy of Dublin, son Brandon Reese and wife Ivette of Carrollton, daughter Keri Lesur and husband Antoine of Stephenville, son Brady Simmons and wife Katie of Weatherford, seven grandchildren (Alec, Madi, Harper, Kynzi, Ashton, Karsyn, and Konleigh), as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held to honor Micki on June 11, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church of Stephenville fellowship hall from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. All are welcome to come and share memories with family and friends while enjoying lunch together.
