On Sunday afternoon, the fine folks of Tarleton State University and the student group, Tarleton Serves, hosted a “Salute To Patriotism, A Day Of Remembrance” at the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Auditorium on the Tarleton campus. Numerous area first responders were on hand to participate in and observe the event. The Tarleton Chamber Choir sang several beautiful and patriotic songs for the large crowd. At the conclusion of the event, guests were encouraged to visit the 9-11 Field Of Flags Memorial which is located at the center of the campus.
