It was an exciting night Tuesday (8/22) at Lingleville ISD, as the Lady Cardinals (2-3) played a thrilling game against the Zephyr Lady Bulldogs (1-4). The Lady Cardinals had a rough start, losing the first set to Zephyr, 24-26, but came back with a vengeance.
Lingleville came back strong in their second set and won by a whopping 8 points, 25-17, then continued the winning streak. They took the third set by 6 points, 25-19, and then finished the game early by getting their third win in the fourth set, with a final score of 25-22.
The Lady Cardinals are set to play their next home game on Tuesday, August 29, against the Early Lady Longhorns (0-2) at 6 p.m.
