The Stephenville Yellow Jackets (0-1) played host to Midlothian Heritage (1-0) to kick off regular preseason play last Friday evening at Memorial Stadium on Tarleton State’s campus in Stephenville. And while the game was a good one, with multiple good series from the Jackets, Stephenville fell, 28-31.
Stephenville is currently ranked No. 3 in District 5-4A standings and No. 6 in 4A, Division 1 ranking by Texas Football. They will welcome the Everman Bulldogs (1-0) to Stephenville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 1.
