The Dublin Lions (0-3) hosted the Anson Tigers (1-2) last Friday evening for Dublin HS Homecoming. While the game didn’t end the way the Dublin faithful would’ve liked, it was a great battle with toughness and strong effort on both sides.
Dublin scored first and held the lead through the game, but the Tigers rallied and were able to get a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter that gave them the win, 20-17.
The Lions are now preparing for this coming Friday’s road game against the Brady Bulldogs (0-3). Brady lost to Coleman last week, 30-14, and to Mason and Comanche before that. Kickoff in Brady will be at 7 p.m.
