The Stephenville FAITH Knights celebrated Homecoming/Senior night Friday night, September 8, before facing the Walnut Springs Hornets.

“Both of our seniors this year are going to be extremely missed,” said Knights head coach, Brycen Kiker.

Preston Hyde (aka “Hands”) #4 and Travis Robertson #7 have led the team for the last 3 seasons and have truly been a staple on the offense and defense. Travis is a two-time all-state RB and QB. And Preston is a two-time all-state center.

“To say they have impacted the team is a HUGE understatement,” Kiker said. “Without these two the team wouldn’t be complete. They are both top-notch athletes and are devoted to their craft. I can’t wait to see what this season and the future holds for these two guys.”

It was yet another exciting game for the Knights, as they mercy-ruled Walnut Springs with a final score of 48-0. FAITH is 3-0 this season, with 3 consecutive mercy rule games.

The Knights will be facing the Keene Chargers (0-3) on Friday, September 15, at Morgan Mill, for three home games. JV will be playing at 4 p.m., Junior High at 5:30 p.m. and Varsity at 7:30.
