The Stephenville Faith Knights traveled to Bryan on Friday night to face the BVCHEA Mustangs (6-1). Despite a hard fought battle, the Knights fell to the Mustangs, 0-38.

The Mustang defense shut down the Knights, allowing less than 100 offensive yards during the game. And while FAITH’s defense was able to create some plays including a fumble recovery and several tackles for loss, they weren’t able to stop the Mustang offense from scoring.

While the loss was hard, this Knights team has the ability to learn and grow from it and the team and coaching staff are looking forward to closing out district play on a high note.

The Knights only have two regular games left this season, then they are on to the playoffs. FAITH is currently sitting second in their region of TAIAO, and hopes to secure a good spot in the postseason as they finish up the district play.

The Knights (6-2) are traveling to Allen to play the CHANT Chargers (5-3) this Friday. Junior High will kick off at 5:30 p.m. and Varsity at 7:30 p.m. Come support the Knights at their last away game of the regular season!
