The Erath County Sheriff’s Office has reported a 13-year-old subject was injured in a shooting between two adults early Sunday morning.
According to Erath County Sheriff Matt Coates, “In the early morning hours of Sunday, November 19, the Erath County Dispatch received a call of shots fired at a location off of State Highway 67 in Erath County.
Deputies learned a disturbance occurred between two adults which resulted in a 13-year-old juvenile being shot in the leg. The child victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. The identity of the child victim will not be released due to their age.
During the course of the investigation, the suspected shooter was identified as Mauricio Ruiz Calzontzi. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Calzontzi for the charge of Injury to a Child. Calzontzi was arrested and booked into the Erath County Jail and is being held there on a $250,000 bond.
We want to recognize and thank the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Stephenville Police Department for their assistance. The joint effort with all departments in this investigation contributed to timely arrests of the suspect.”
For you gun loving Republicans a 13 yr old in stephenville got shot when two people had a gunfight. I know I’m not actually a genius but I’m smart enough to know this is going to happen over and over and stephenville will be just as dangerous a place as anywhere else in America. If you’re going to love your fellow human as yourself why do you need a gun? Oh because you’re a gun loving Republican that worships a false Christ that’s what Republicans around here do. Stop acting like blood thirsty heathens.

this shooting like all shootings in America was brought to you and supported by Republican lawmakers. It is no longer the fault of those who shoot people it’s the fault of those who make the laws that allow them access to murderous weapons and the Republican lawmakers are responsible for every death in America that comes from a gun. If you’re going to allow every emotional human in the country to have a gun you’re going to have to let them kill people you’re going to have to allow them to shoot people and not put them in jail because you’re telling them it’s okay.
