Derek Aron Naul, 83, of Stephenville, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 in Hico, Texas.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 2:00PM at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at the Duffau Cemetery. The family will host a visitation Saturday evening from
6:00PM to 8:00PM at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Aron Naul was born on September 30, 1940 in Morgan Mill, Texas to the late Archie Bell Naul and Lucy
Oleta Reagan Naul. In 1958, he married Nelda Arnold and they shared 54 years together until her
passing on July 25, 2012. He later married Uvon Nolan and they have enjoyed the past 10 years
together. Aron worked for Safeway for 20 years. He also worked for Parker Ranches and Jay Mills doing
road construction as a heavy equipment operator for 33 years when he retired in 2012. He was a
member of the Seldon Baptist and was a lifelong member of Erath County.
Aron is survived by his wife, Uvon; his children, Quinton and Aimee Naul, Larry and Wanda Naul, DeAnn
and Joe Phillips, Jimmy and Connie Naul, and LeAnn and Matt Teston, Marshall and Ginger Hinton, and
Woodie and Susan Lawson; brother, Fred Naul; sister, Linda and Malcolm Lillard; his grandchildren, A. J.
Phillips, Jason Naul, Britt Naul, Ashley and Nathen Nicholas, Derek and Alicia Naul, Miranda Gooch,
Amanda and Gil Rodriguez, Bailey and Russell Coburn, Shay and Luis Aguilar, Reagan and Jackson Jones, Camden and Jacob Cunningham and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Aron was preceded in death by his first wife, Nelda and his brother, Eldon Naul
