Lingleville – Services for Servando Rangel, Sr., age 71, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home chapel with Father Matthew officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation and a rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Servando was born in Durango, Mexico, on October 23, 1952, to parents Luciano Rangel and Sara Palacios. He married Genoveve Mendez on December 31, 1981, in Mexico.
Servando was a Catholic. He worked as a farmer by trade. In his spare time he could be found spending time with his family and his animals.
Survivors include his wife, Genoveve Rangel of Lingleville; children, Servando Rangel, Jr. and wife, Eva of Lingleville; Luciano Rangel and wife, Abruelia of Lingleville; Sarita Patricia Morales and husband, Alvaro of Garland; Catarino Rangel and wife, Brenda of Lingleville; and Sergio Rangel; twelve grandchildren; and five siblings.
