She was a hard worker and had many different jobs including an office manager of JC Penny and working for the United Postal Service in Bluff Dale before retiring.

She served on the water board from the beginning in 1998 until her death and was secretary-treasurer for many years. The president of the water board states that there has never been an interruption of service and the Bluff Dale Water Supply has never failed an audit or an inspection due to Lou’s leadership.
For many years, Lou led the senior citizens of the community of Bluff Dale to gather for games and a time of fellowship at least once a month. If it concerned Bluff Dale, you would find Lou fighting for what was good for the community.
