January 31, 1931 ~ August 21, 2024 (age 93)
Agnes Katherine Fulfer, 93, passed away on August 21, 2024, at her home in Stephenville, TX. She was born on January 31, 1931, in the community of Lake Creek in Palo Pinto County, Texas, to Henry and Julie (Teichman) Holub. After graduating from Gordon High School, she married the love of her life, Billy Joe Fulfer on September 16, 1950. They were happily married for 69 years. Agnes lived most of her life in northern Earth County where her and Billy Joe dairy farmed, ranched and raised their five children. The past few years she resided in Stephenville and she was a long time member of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church. Her family was the world to her and she centered her work around raising a lovely family.
Agnes is survived by her four daughters; Sandra Eubanks of Winnsboro, LA, Katherine Hale and husband, Mike of Huckabay, TX, Janet Jackson and husband, Craig of Stephenville, TX, and Teresa Atkins and husband, JJ of Strawn, TX, son, Larry Fulfer and wife, Kathleen of Bridgeton, NC, 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 9 great great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Agnes is preceded in death by both of her parents, husband,Billy Joe Fulfer, sister Florence Gee, and brothers Johnny and Wilbert Holub, and a son-in-law, Dariel Eubanks.
A service for Agnes will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Stephenville, with burial to follow at Exray Cemetery in Erath County. A rosary will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 5:30 P.M. at Stephenville Funeral Home with a visitation to follow from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M.
