TARLETON

The Tarleton Texans (7-1, 4-0) are ranked No. 7 and defeated Austin Peay College in Tennessee on Saturday, 27-17. Austin Peay are the defending UAC Champions and Tarleton upset them for their homecoming game.This week, the Texans will start a run of four home games to close out the regular season as they host the Eastern Kentucky Colonels (4-4, 2-2) on Saturday, November 2, at 6 p.m.

STEPHENVILLE

It’s Burn the ‘Wood Week and the Stephenville Yellow Jackets (7-1, 2-0) are head to face off against the Brownwood Lions (4-3, 1-1) on Friday, November 1, at 7:30 p.m. at Lion Stadium in Brownwood. The Jackets are ranked No. 4 in 4A, D1 and sit at the top of District 4, 4A after beating the Lampasas Badgers (7-2, 2-1), 31-42, last week.

DUBLIN

The Dublin Lions (1-7, 1-2) jumped ahead of the Eastland Mavericks (3-5, 0-3) on Friday night and never looked back, winning 35-28. This puts Dublin ahead of Eastland and Early in the District 5, 3A standings. This week the Lions will travel to Clifton to face the Cubs (5-3, 2-1) in a battle for third place. 

HICO

The Hico Tigers (5-3, 1-2) will travel to Hamilton on Friday, to face the undefeated Bulldogs (8-0, 3-0) in the Battle of Hamilton County. The Tigers are coming off a hard loss last week to the Coleman Bluecats, 6-14.

LINGLEVILLE

The Lingleville Cardinals (1-6, 0-3) had a tough lost to the Gorman Panthers (3-5, 1-1) on Friday. The Cardinals are looking rest up with a bye week and then to bounce back when they host the Ranger (2-6, 0-2) on Friday, November 8, at Lingleville ISD Field.

BLUFF DALE

The Bluff Dale Bobcats (5-4, 1-2) beat the Morgan Eagles (2-6, 0-2) last week, 62-13, in an exciting game for the Bobcats. Now Bluff Dale will have a bye week before hosting the Kopperl Eagles (4-3, 0-2) on Thursday, November 7.

THREE WAY

The Three Way Braves (8-0, 2-0) will host the Iredell Dragons (7-2, 3-0) in a battle for the top of District 11, 1A at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night at Three Way ISD Field. The undefeated Braves are coming off a bye week and are looking to further secure their spot in first place.

FAITH

The Stephenville FAITH Knights (2-6, 1-2) were able to overcome several injuries to defeat the Newman International Academy Warriors (1-8, 0-3) last Friday night, 51-6. The Knights will travel to Waco on Friday, November 1, to face the undefeated Texas Wind (7-0).
