Bradford Lee Bleeker, 83 passed away on Saturday, April 2025 in his home in Morgan Mill, Texas.
Brad was born on January 13, 1942, to Banks Bradford and Alta Mae Fuller Bleeker in Bartlett, Texas. He was welcomed into a large family, the oldest of five brothers and four sisters, and the leader of the family group. After some high school, Brad became dedicated to his work and owned part of the Bleeker Brothers Tree Service. He also worked as a crane operator and farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and visits from Brother Joe. In July of 1961, he married Brenda Gail Cobb and they shared 62 beautiful years together before she preceded him in death in March of 2024. Together they had a son, Melvin Bleeker who also preceded him in death in July of 2010.
He is survived by his grandson, Jacob Gunnar Bleeker of Stephenville; his brother, Bruce and Cindy Bleeker of Morgan Mill; Sister, Bonnie Adams of Gordon; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his sisters, Alice Woods, Hazel Ansley, and Marie Mays; Brothers, Bill Bleeker, Robert Bleeker, Ray Bleeker, and Billy Bleeker; his parents, Banks and Alta Mae Bleeker; and his wife and son, Brenda Bleeker and Melvin Bleeker.
Service Information
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Friday, April 11, at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, in the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Morgan Mill Cemetery.
