NEW ORLEANS – The second regular season in Tarleton State Beach Volleyball’s existence ended on Saturday in New Orleans at the White Sands Volleyball Courts.
Tarleton went 0-4 across Friday-Saturday, falling in the slimmest of margins to McNeese (12-17) 3-2 with a 17-15 loss in the third set on Court 2, and another narrow 3-2 loss at the hands of Southeastern Louisiana to end Saturday. The Texans lost 5-0 in their other two matches against No. 18 Florida Atlantic and Tulane, who sat just outside of the top-20 poll (No. 22).
The Texans have concluded their regular season 5-15 after a 1-12 run in their inaugural regular season last year.

Halcomb and Schirpik have been on the team for both seasons and have lengthy Tarleton State Athletics careers, having also played multiple years on the indoor volleyball team. Brown arrived in Stephenville this season, transferring in from Arizona Christian.
