Services for Homero Jimenez Jr., 56, will be held at 10a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel in Stephenville, Texas with Father Matthew Sanka officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2025 at Lacy Funeral Home. A prayer service will also be held at 6 p.m. in the chapel.
Homero Jr. was born in San Saba on May 11th, 1969, to Nelda Flores and Homero Jimenez Sr
Homer was a member of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church
Homer loved hunting, fishing and music. He was more than just a loving son, brother and friend. Even before graduating Stephenville High School, he started working as a bouncer at a local music venue called Joe’s Garage in Ft. Worth.
From there his journey into the music business grew to becoming a talent coordinator at The Tattoo Bar in Ft. Worth, and the Sanctuary in Arlington. He would later manage The Tattoo Bar.
He built a reputation of being steadfast and firm in his business dealings, yet kind and gentle to those who knew him personally. These wonderful traits earned him the love and respect of his colleagues at all levels of the music business and his personal life. He was a pillar in the DFW music scene and formed many long-lasting friendships with local and touring bands who came through town.
He loved sports and was an A-one aficionado of boxing.
Homer will be missed immensely by his large family and thousands of friends
Survivors include his father Homero Flores Jimenez Sr., and sister Rebecca Jimenez of Stephenville, and several aunts, uncles, and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Nelda Jimenez on June 4, 2019.
