NEW ORLEANS, LA (April 28, 2015) – The seventh edition of the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Association rankings were released Tuesday with the Texans moving up to No. 22, while the TexAnns re-enter the rankings at No. 19.
Tarleton is coming off a meet that featured 14 top-10 finishes and two new school records – Euphemia Edem in the triple jump and the TexAnn 4x100m relay of Deylinn Garrett, Euphemia Edem, Hollie Boyd, Deaijha Hicks-Boyce.
The LSC fields five mens teams ranked inside the top-25 – No. 3 Texas A&M-Commerce, No. 5 Texas A&M-Kingsville, No. 9 West Texas A&M, No. 10 Angelo State, and No. 22 Tarleton State.
The LSC fields four womens teams ranked inside the top-25 – No. 8 West Texas A&M, No. 12 Angelo State, No. 16 Texas A&M-Kingsville and No. 19 Tarleton State.
Tarleton will travel to San Angelo May 7-9 for the Lone Star Conference outdoor track and field championships.
