STEPHENVILLE (January 28, 2016) — Four members of the Stephenville High School girls soccer program will cement their college futures next Wednesday.
Bayleigh Chaviers committed to Miami (Fla.) as a sophomore and will sign her national letter of intent along with Jordyn Howle, who is headed to Texas A&M-Commerce. Signing letters of commitment will be sisters Peyton and Shelby Wood, both with Concordia in Austin.
Chaviers is a forward for the Honeybees and is also point guard for the varsity basketball team and a two-time state champion in the 800 meter in track and field. The Wood sisters also compete in track and field and cross country.
Stephenville reached the regional tournament last season and is currently riding a seven match win streak.
