Bruner Motors holding canned food drive

(December 8, 2014) — Bruner Motors is holding a canned food drive in conjunction with local charity organizations H.O.P.E. and Grace Place.

“This is important to Bruner Motors and our employees to help support our community and families in need, especially during the holiday season,” said Bruner Motors general manager Greg Bruner.

Bruner will collect through December and help restock shelves after the busiest month of the year at H.O.P.E. and Grace Place.

Donations can be dropped off at either the GM or Chrysler dealerships. Bruner GM is located at 1515 South Loop – the intersection of the South Loop of US Highway 377 and Lillian Street. Bruner Chrysler is located at 750 East Road – the intersection of the South Loop and US Highway 281.

The Bruner family has owned Chevrolet dealerships in Texas since 1928. Today, the Bruners have new car operations in Erath and Brown counties as well as a car and lube center in Glen Rose and The Car Wash at Bruner’s in Stephenville.

Bruner Motors has received the General Motors Genuine Leader Mark of Excellence five times, and in 2005 was presented with the prestigious Family Business Award from the Texas Automobile Dealers Associaton recognizing the family’s 75 years in the business.
