Sport: (January 13, 2014) — Derek Gifford, 14, of Stephenville, has been recruited to join the Rawlings Stars and Stripes All-American Baseball Team.
Gifford earned his invitation with his performance in the Rawlings Stars and Stripes Winter World Series baseball tournament. He will now travel across the country with the All-American team.
Gifford, who has played select baseball since age six, is shown in the photo below with Wes Potter of the Rawlings Stars and Stripes All-American Team immediately receiving his invitation to join them.
