STEPHENVILLE (June 20,2015) — The fifth annual garden tour sponsored by Keep Stephenville Beautiful Saturday included a diverse collection of homes and gardens.
Patriotism was the leading theme at the home of Dan and Sandra Palmer, located at 127 Sandra Palmer. American flags were featured throughout the colorful front and back yards with the property gracefully backing onto the golf course at Legends Country Club.
The KSB “Kurb Appeal” project was on display at 851 and 863 West Frey Street, homes owned by Heather Aguilar and Keisha Barkmeyer. Volunteers from KSB, Tarleton and the community worked with Aguilar and Barkmeyer to transform the two properties.
The final stop was the magnificent home of Stephany Elliott at 1255 Alexander Road. In a release, KSB noted the Elliott is a version of the Home and Garden Television Dream Home 2011, and the house and surroundings certainly stand up to such hype. The large multi-story home complete with large glass windows and exquisite balconies and decks is punctuated with a pool, rock fire pit and vibrant plant life that kept visitors pointing and buzzing.
The garden tour is a fundraiser for Keep Stephenville Beautiful, a non-profit organization that gives back to the community through beautification projects. For more information or to become a member of KSB, visit keepstephenvillebeautiful.org.
