STEPHENVILLE (March 30, 2016) – TexAnn Track & Field is ranked No. 17 in the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national rankings.
The TexAnns have 64.83 points in the poll. Tarleton has claimed six NCAA Division II provisional-qualifying marks in two outdoor meets this season. Tarleton, who was ranked No. 16 last week, was ranked as high as No. 4 after the opening meet of the outdoor season on March 3.

Three other Lone Star Conference women’s teams are ranked in the top 25: Texas A&M-Kingsville (4), Angelo State (6), and West Texas A&M (19). The LSC is ranked second in the nation in the USTFCCCA conference index top 10 with 412.85 points, trailing the GLIAC (429.50).
Tarleton will compete at the Texas Relays on March 30 through April 2 and have 10 TexAnns selected to compete.
