STEPHENVILLE (March 16, 2017) – Tarleton’s Casey Wild was named the Lone Star Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week after her efforts at the Midwestern State Invitational earlier this week.
Wild led No. 4 Tarleton at the Midwestern State Invitational with a third-place individual finish, carding a 152 (+8). Wild shot a 77 in the first round and had a two-stroke improvement on the second day with a 75 (+3). Wild had 21 pars and a team-leading four birdies in the tournament.
Wild and the TexAnns will head to the West Coast next week for the Otter Invitational in Seaside, California on Monday and Tuesday.
